Some of the lucky pot food brought by those of us participating. In a variation on a post-Medieval tradition I made haggis eggrolls and samosas, with three sauces, in tribute to the bard, the late Robert Burns, whose birthday is celebrated on 25 January. Other dishes included a mushroom & garlic soup, greens salad, barley & beef stew, crofter's pie, stuffed mushroom caps, cheese, hummus & pita bread, roast chicken, and custard & raspberry tarts.
