On May 14th, College Hill Student Radio (97.9 FM) will be opening its doors to the public. Stop by and see what happens behind the scenes. CHSR is your community radio station and they want to show you what they have to offer. Learn how you can go on the radio and play the music you like for your friends, family and anyone with a radio or an internet connection. If behind the-scenes is more your style, they also have a great deal to offer, including the largest music library east of Montreal and lots of great audio equipment that you can learn how to use. CHSR FM is a volunteer-operated not-for-profit radio station that has been serving the UNB/STU campus and the greater Fredericton community for more than 40 years. During this time, they've been committed to providing a voice for all members of the Fredericton community. They offer the most diverse range of programming available in this region, including a vast array of cultural, political/activist, music, news and special interest programs.
CHSR is located in Room 223 in the Student Union Building on the UNB campus. The open house will be from 10am-3pm and then again from 6pm 8pm, for your convenience. For more information, email chsr@unb.ca or call 506-453-4985.
