Joe Blades in By the Book

En route to Newfoundland in late July for a Page One "Pictures and Words" event in Deer Lake (and more!) I received an email requesting a interview by Linda Hersey for her By the Book column in Moncton's Times & Transcript newspaper. The colomn's mandate is not book reviews but to feature a recent book by the author. I gave the interview from where I was staying in Curling, Corner Brook. The paper required a photo, a head & shoulders pic with my book, so at the event in Deer Lake I was sitting in a chair in a corner shooting self-portraits hoping to get a good one (without anything sticking--growing out of my head) that I could email per supplied specs before I left the Rock. Looks like it worked :)
